Youth Tennis Team
The Land Sharks Youth Tennis Team at SRA (ages 11-18) compete in the Mount Vernon Community Tennis League (MVCT) Junior Division. The tennis team practices Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 11:00 am based on age group. Matches are held on Sundays at 5:00 p.m. and Wednesdays at 8:30 a.m. The coaches determines placement on the ladder for match play. Players 10 and younger participate in a noncompetitive program with opportunities to play “training matches.”

Youth Tennis Lessons
Benefit from individual attention and instruction, and develop basic skills and fine-tune advanced skills, through private individual lessons with our talented tennis instructors. Lessons are coordinated between the member and the instructor in advance. Please pick up a contact sheet from the front office when the season begins.

Adult Lessons & Play
Instructors will conduct lessons using play-based skill and ability acquisition. Drills will leverage a player's abilities to enhance tactical play. Competitive play preparation includes etiquette, rules, strategy, and tactics. Lessons are available in 4-week sessions from May through September to allow for maximum flexibility.

Men's Friday Tennis Happy Hour
Stay tuned for the return of weekly Friday evening informal Men's tennis happy hour. No matter your level of skill or experience, this is a fun event where we play doubles and every 15 minutes rotate as to change things up and socialize with others. Bring your cooler and beverage. No glass, ever. We play music.

Summer 2022 Adult Tennis Lessons
We are offering summer lessons and classes through Advantage Tennis (the same company that provided Spring Tennis at SRA. Six lessons for $120. Class series begins June 14 or August 2. More mature 16 and 17 year old players can also register for these adult classes. Course types ranges and are offered for all levels. From Ladies tennis, to beginners, advanced beginners, intermediate and advanced. Doubles and singles. Tennis balls will be provided by the instructor.
