The Stratford Recreation Association Social Committee plans social events throughout the summer dedicated to providing opportunities for members to build relationships within the community. Social events are not subsidized by member dues and may charge an additional fee to cover costs. 2026 SRA Independence Day Party Presale
Presale will open at midnight on 6/16 and will end at midnight on 7/1 or when quantities are sold out. A limited number of day-of tickets will be available beginning at midnight on July 4.
It's SRA's biggest party of the year! Don't miss the chance to celebrate 4th of July at the pool. This all-inclusive event features hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, (N/A) drinks, sno-cones, prizes, games for all ages, music, and much more!

PAVILION RENTALS FOR PRIVATE FUNCTIONS
Starting Tuesday, May 26, 2026, you can request half of the pavilion area to be reserved for a two-hour block by SRA members for private parties during normal pool hours. All parties require a pavilion rental. The pool will not be closed to other members during your party. Like always, the grills can be used on a first-come/first-served basis; glass is not permitted. No helium balloons inside the pavilion, or any other items that may inadvertently cause costly damage to the facility. The Shark Shack is NOT accessible during rentals, including the use of refrigerators. THE PAVILION MAY NOT BE RESERVED FOR ANY PART OF MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND, THE LAST DAY OF (FCPS) SCHOOL, THE 4TH OF JULY, LABOR DAY WEEKEND, OR DURING TEAM OR SRA SOCIAL EVENTS.
The cost to reserve the space is $100 (non-refundable). All non-member guests require a guest pass. The host will be expected to have enough guest passes in their MemberSplash account to cover entrance to the facility for non-members of their party. Members are responsible for their guests following the rules & regulations of SRA at all times. Requests for pavilion rental with an expected attendance of a certain size (25+ people) require pre-approval by the SRA Board, to ensure adequate lifeguard staff will be scheduled. Requests are typically responded to within one week of the application being submitted. REQUESTS WILL BE PROCESSED ON A FIRST-COME/FIRST-SERVED BASIS, AND RESERVATIONS ARE NOT CONFIRMED UNTIL YOU HAVE RECEIVED A CONFIRMATION EMAIL AND YOUR EVENT APPEARS ON THE SRA CALENDAR. Please check the SRA calendar for availability before submitting your request. The Business Manager will not check for requests until the first work day, Tuesday, May 27th. NOTE: Please be sure to check your spam, promotions, and other email folders for an email from "business-manager@StratfordRec.org" as this is how you will receive confirmation.
