Membership
The Stratford Recreation Association (SRA) was established in 1964 as a way for the surrounding community to grow closer through summer activities. Membership in the SRA affords neighbors access to the pool, pavilion, tennis courts, competitive teams, and social gatherings during the summer months.
SRA is a non-profit, non-stock corporation owned and operated by the membership.
Become a Member
Because SRA is Co-op, new members must first buy shares in the SRA organization, and then pay the annual membership fee. Share purchase occurs only once over the lifetime of your household's membership. Each year, you will be responsible for annual dues in order to maintain an active pool membership. There are a limited number of memberships available. Have questions or interested in membership? Contact our Membership Coordinator at membership@stratfordrec.org.
Please join our waitlist for Summer 2024!
SRA Membership is available to households in the communities of Stratford Landing, Riverside Gardens and Plymouth Haven, as well as new developments bounded by the following:
Collingwood Road, east of Riverside Road, extended to Fort Hunt Road
Fort Hunt Road, South to Plymouth Road
Plymouth Road to Potomac Road to Alden Road.
Alden Road back to Winthrop to Fort Hunt Road east past Fort Hunt Park.

Each year, you are responsible for annual dues in order to maintain an active pool membership, which is due by April 1. Pay early to avoid late fees. Any payment received after April 1 will be subject to late fees.
Membership Dues for 2024: $725
Leased memberships are usually offered by SRA to waitlisted families at the beginning of May. Families will have one week from a leased membership offer to accept and pay the leased membership fee before the membership is offered to the next family on the waitlist.
Leased Membership Fee (seasonal/temporary members) for 2024: $825
Dues may be made by mail (8903 Camfield Dr.) or by credit card (with a fee). Checks should be made payable to Stratford Recreation Association. Dues payments must be received (not postmarked) by April 1 to avoid late fees.
All members require a photo of each family member on their account.
